.: Introduction
Duke Plus is a big bundle of game customizations for Duke Nukem 3D created by DeeperTought. Sometimes it features new graphics (new shotgun, flares) or just enhancements (ladders, items only visible
when using Nightvision, rain) and even bugfixes (such as enemies actually standing still when they're frozen when using models instead of sprites).
.: Downloading and installing
The current version of this mod can be download from the next sources;

- Official websiteFile-extension: .rar Current version: 1.7 Releasedate: October 21, 2007 Last updated on: June 21, 2008 To install and play this mod; - Download the file and extract it. - Add the file "duke3d.grp" from your Duke3D installation to the directory. You're basically done, use "dukeplus.bat" to start a game, to use the High Resolution Pack with Duke Plus simply put the HRP file ("duke3d_hrp.zip") in a directory called "autoload" which should be located in the directory of Duke Plus. If it doesn't exist simply create it yourself. If you would like to customize Duke Plus simply open up the file "Dukeplus.con" which can be found in the "DukePlus" folder using a simple text editor (such as Notepad). The most interesting options to finetune the game can be found in the top of the file. |
