.: Introduction

When the SOB-Bot (Son Of a Bitch Bot) was released it was the most advanced fake-multiplayer opponent of its time. Now, many years later this old tech doesn't run on WinNT-kernal operating systems (Like WinXP) so AlgorithMan and Roma Loom took the time to adept the code so it could run under modern operating system and also wrote a userfriendly launcher for it so end-users can make use of the SOB-Bot in no time.

.: Downloading and installing

Choose one of the version below, depending on what version of Duke Nukem 3D you have;

» SOB-Bot for v1.3D (.zip-file - 562Kb)
» SOB-Bot for Atomic Edition / Plutonium Pack (.zip-file - 570Kb)

Just download one of the versions, extract them into your Duke3D directory and run SobBot.exe. Remember that the application must be launched from a sub directory of you Duke3D installation. A handy launcher will come up allowing you to fine tune the bot settings and choose the map you would like to play (custom usermap or an official level).
